Dealer Program Summary

As a dealer, you would assume specific responsibilities in order to receive the allotted discount. The level of discount would be determined by the prior year’s sales billed to you.

You would be expected to collect deposits and balances from customers, send out billing, and pay Boatswain's Locker in the allotted time in order to be eligible for the discount.

To ensure all parties are in agreement on the scope of a project, you would be supplied a quote prior to starting any job. A signed quote or purchase order from you, the dealer, would be deemed a contract to begin building the project. Cancellation after materials have been bought or items having been started would result in you being billed for material expenditures and/or labor.

Boatswain’s will provide free written quotes outlining all project specifics, for you to provide free to the customer to outline all project specifics. This will serve to ensure all parties are in agreement about all aspects of the project.

Quick Turn Around Times
We have an extensive stock room of marine canvas and fabrics and can begin most projects without waiting for materials to arrive. Additionally, from our vast experience in the business we have a complete staff of pattern, sewing, and installation personnel to aid in expediting orders.

Knowledgeable Staff
We have an on-going training system in place that keeps our staff informed of the latest "state-of-art" methods and products both inside and outside of the marine industry. This means Boatswain’s can offer new ideas and problem solving applications to your customers for even the toughest cover, dodger, or enclosure.

Guaranteed Workmanship
We stand behind our products with a one-year workmanship warranty. We will respond in a reasonable amount of time to any concerns or questions customers may have regarding a specific product, application or fabric.

Easy Ordering
For those dealers who order on a frequent basis, we will catalog patterns, measurements, etc. for future use. This will result in decreasing prices as it eliminates the need for re-patterning.

Dealer Program Criteria

To participate in the Boatswain’s Locker Dealer Program you must:

	Be an established marine business.
	Submit a credit application for terms consideration. Call 888-383-1179 or email dealers@boatswains-locker.com for a copy.
	Supply a purchase order for each job, or sign and fax back our quote with credit card authorization and/or deposit.
	Supply a copy of resale certificate annually.
	Pay invoices according to terms
